Free Typing Test and Certification is now available!

AlfaTyping.com offers “Professional Touch Typist” test and certificate for free, once issued we will mail you printed version of “Professional Touch Typist” certificate suitable for framing, that contains your name on it. Certificate is delivered by mail in 15 to 20 working days.

Please, note that the “Professional Touch Typist” certificate has an expiration period: certification is valid during one year after issued. After one year, it expires, and you will need to re-apply for the certification if you want to keep your certification up-to-date.

How to receive Typing Certificate?

To receive your “Professional Touch Typist” certificate, you need to decide first, in what keyboard layout you want to be certified. At this moment, there are two keyboard layouts available: Latin (English) and Cyrillic (Russian), there are 60 typing lessons for Latin (English) and 50 typing lessons for Cyrillic (Russian) keyboard layouts.

After you decide, in what keyboard layout you want to get certified, you need to achieve recommended results for all typing lessons of the selected keyboard layout.

Once you had achieved recommended results of all typing lessons, you need to send us an official request for the Final Certification Exam: we will manually analyze your results, and if we will get satisfied with your achievements, we will give to you access to the Examination room, where you can try to pass the Final Certification Exam.

You will have three chances to pass the exam: If you achieve required results for the exam in any of your try – you will get certified and receive your Typing Certificate. If you fail all your three chances, then you will not get certified. To re-apply, you need to start from the beginning: achieve recommended results for all typing lessons and send official request for Final Examination.

Please, note that in general, two out of ten applicants passes the final exam and receives their certificate, others fail.

You must already have registered for an account before you start actual typing lessons. If you do not have an account, you may register by clicking the 'Registration' button near the top of the screen or click here. It is completely free of charge.

In the near future, there is a possibility that we can offer commercial examination service, where you can get certified without spending some time to achieve recommended results of all 60 typing lessons. But for now, the single way to get certified is to finish our full typing course by achieving recommended results of all typing lessons.
